Welcome to the fourth SING Aotearoa internship programme.  The Summer Internship for Indigenous Genomics is an initiative that emerged from the Te Waka o Tama-rereti project and is now funded by Genomics Aotearoa.

This event ran over 5 days – Monday, 21 Jan to Friday, 25 Jan 2019.

Day 1:   Whanaungatanga and Dinner
Day 2:   Pōwhiri and introductions to Genetics, CELSI: Cultural Foundation, and breeding technologies
Day 3:  Plant Genetics Laboratory, Bioinformatics, Commercialisation
Day 4:  Gene Editing workshops, Food Innovation and research, Futures workshop
Day 5:   Research case studies, Tikanga workshop
